School information
Brimscombe Church of England VA Primary School is a small caring school situated in the Golden Valley, close to Stroud. The school benefits from modern, purpose built facilities and extensive grounds.
We have a reputation as a school which encourages individuality and excellence in our pupils. We offer a rich and exciting curriculum, a broad range of extra curriculum activities and wrap around care from 8:00am until 4:30pm five days a week. We pride ourselves on being a happy school where all the children are valued.
Our 5 school values: courage, responsibility, friendship, kindness and respect are at the heart of everything we do.
We are a school of just over 100 pupils split into four classes with a Governor run pre-school on sight. Reception class is kept to a maximum of 15 children.
Our classes are named after local wildlife chosen by the children:
Pre-school: Ladybirds
Reception & year 1 : Robins
Year 2 & 3 Dragonflies
Year 4 & 5 Kingfishers
Year 6 Otters
We provide a high quality education which meets the interests and needs of all of our pupils. The staff, governors, parents and pupils are fully committed to our vision of nurturing individual success and supporting all our children in becoming confident, skilled and optimistic young people.
We are rightly proud of our inclusive ethos and our relationship with parents and carers.
We would like to extend a warm welcome to anyone wishing to visit our school.
