Welcome to Dragonfly Class!  Our class is made up of children in Year 1 and Year 2.  Our teachers are Mrs Pockett and Mrs Jowett. 

Dragonfly Class is a fun, caring and safe space, full of kind and helpful children. Pupils thrive on challenging themselves, love to engage in discussions and are passionate about learning more about the world. Guided by our school motto, “Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all you do,” we also live out our core Christian values of kindness, courage, respect, friendship and responsibility, encouraging children to support one another, make positive choices and take pride in who they are.  By the time Dragonflies are ready to transition into Kingfisher Class, they will be responsible, confident and independent students, who are ready to take on more challenges and be inspiring role models. 

We strongly encourage good attendance, as being in school every day helps children feel confident, keep up with their learning and make the most of everything we offer. We are always outside each morning to warmly welcome the children into class, helping them start the day positively, and we are always on hand to support both children and families whenever needed.
