About us

Brimscombe C of E Primary School sits in the heart of the community in Brimscombe, serving families from across Stroud and the surrounding valleys.
We are a small, welcoming primary school where every child is known and valued. Our size allows us to build strong relationships with children and families, creating a safe and supportive environment where children feel confident to explore, question and grow.
Our curriculum is designed to give children both strong foundations and meaningful experiences. We place a clear focus on reading, writing and maths while also ensuring children develop creativity, curiosity and a deep understanding of the world around them.
Through a broad curriculum, outdoor learning and enrichment opportunities, children learn not only knowledge but also the skills needed to become thoughtful, capable learners.
At Brimscombe, we place great importance on personal development. We encourage children to show kindness, resilience and respect for others. Our aim is that children leave us not only well-prepared for the next stage of their education but also confident in who they are and what they can achieve.
Partnership with families is central to what we do. We work closely with parents and carers to support every child's progress and wellbeing, building a strong sense of community around the school.
We are proud of our school and the children who learn here. Together, we create a place where learning matters, effort is celebrated and every child is supported to succeed.
