Sugar Cube Pyramids

Written by Jasper

Yesterday afternoon, Aquila class made sugar cube pyramids. We did it because we have been learning about Egypt. We needed to line the cubes up and then stick them together with PVA glue. We had to stack rows up but the bottom layer had to be a 10 x 10 or 11 x 11 or 12 x12. The pyramids were so big that we ran out of sugar cubes! Mrs Brown had to go and buy some more but she only found one box! The next day Mrs Brown came in with a bag full of sugar cubes so we were able to finish them off. We painted them a blend of orange, yellow and brown to make them look sandy.
