The Aquilian Living Museum
The children created a 'living' museum as an end of term project about the Romans.
Each group worked extremely hard producing an exhibit and writing scripts to present their part of the museum. Some exhibits had children acting out battle scenes, others had Q&A sections where guests could answer questions, one exhibit had real Roman food for guests to taste and most exhibits had iPad interaction where the children had recorded an audio or video for guests to listen and watch. Despite the museum being open for just 2 hours, there was so much interest and parents and carers came flocking to see what was going on. The children worked so hard and they felt extremely proud of their effort. Amazing job Aquila!
