Outdoor Maths Orienteering
Last Friday, we had a fantastic time in the sun. We worked in small groups to create a maths hunt for another group to solve. All we were given was a birds-eye view map of the school and simple instructions to position a variety of 10 maths questions around the school grounds.
Once this was completed, another group had the chance to locate these challenges from the map and answer them in order. It was quite a challenge but one everyone enjoyed and it was great to see such fantastic collaboration and maths skills in action.
