We decided to leave out some pots of water with dinosaurs and Moshi monsters in to see what happened overnight. We were so excited when the characters were stuck in the ice, and it triggered lots of language and discussion about what had happened and how we could reverse it.

We used our small motor skills to open and squeeze the ink bottles. Then we used our large motor skills to splatter paint on large pieces in the garden, creating more firework patterns.
