They started the day off with a tug of war and in doing so learnt how pulleys can be used practically on the farm. They then took part in a day of challenges including cooking, den building, animal skull identification and creating obstacles using a range of resources. We all had a brilliant time!

They took part in whole class and group productions with children even producing their own samba arrangements! The day involved three practical experiments, learning about how sound travels, testing which materials are best for sound insulation and measuring the relationship between volume and distance using an online decibel meter!

They built on their knowledge of coordinates and translations and all managed to successfully reflect a variety of different shapes!
