We finished our Saxon topic with  a great day out at Gloucester museum. Going on the train made it all a bit more exciting, and it was a proper little adventure. The Museum was fascinating and we had the whole place to ourselves!  The pupils did all sorts of Anglos Saxon activities: weaving, grinding flower, writing with ink, playing Anglo axon game, comparing maps and much more.

 Lots of learning and lots of fun.
