Art- Sketching and painting Innsbruck
Kingfisher class have been developing their sketching skills this week. They sketched different landscapes of the alpine region of Innsbruck and then had the choice of colouring or painting their pictures.

RE- The Five Pillars of Islam
Kingfisher class used a range of resources to produce some wonderful posters in their RE lesson this week. The posters focused on what the Five Pillars of Islam are and why they're important to Muslims.

Geography Fieldwork
As part of their Geography unit Kingfisher class went out on a walk around the local area to identify physical and human features. They will then use these to compare life in Brimscombe to the Alpine city of Innsbruck.

Maths-Place Value
Kingfisher class have been working on their Place Value skills in Maths this week. They used base 10 to help them to answer a range of questions involving 4 and 5 digit numbers! Great effort everyone!

Geography- Locating the European Alps
Kingfisher class kicked off their new Geography unit by using atlases and maps to locate the countries which the European Alps run through. They're then going to be investigating key human and physical features!
