    Science- Making planets

    Kingfisher class have loved learning about the planets and finished off with a celebratory session where they made their own version of planets. They paper mached balloons and then carefully painted them to represent the planets. Great work everyone!

    Skipping day

    Kingfisher class enjoyed their skipping session with 'Skippy John' this week! They developed their skipping skills and some of the class even took part in a special performance. Well done everyone!

    Science- Day and night

    The pupils have been learning about time zones this week in Science. They have identified time zones on maps and then managed to work out the differences in time between different countries.

    Science- Earth and Space

    The pupils have been developing their Working Scientifically Skills of reporting and presenting this week. They have researched facts about the planets in the solar system and then presented them in a clear, engaging way. Well done everyone!

    Take One Picture Week

    The pupils have produced some fantastic artwork this week. They used a combination of pencil, paint and pastels to recreate Van Gogh's 'Starry Night.'  They all produced wonderful artwork. Well done everyone!

    Take One Picture week

    As part of Take One Picture Week we focused on the artist Vincent van Gogh. The pupils then had to locate specific museums on a map which housed his artwork using a combination of atlases and ipads. Great work all!
