    Computing- writing for different audiences.

    In computing this half-term Kingfisher class have focused on writing for different audiences. Today, they designed their own online game and managed to clearly explain how to navigate it using clear and appropriate language.

    Gloucester Museum- Saxon Day

    Anglo-Saxon newspapers!

    In their writing lessons, Kingfisher class have been writing newspaper reports. They have linked their newspaper reports with their learning in History and have reported on the Anglo-Saxon invasion in 450 AD!

    Science- set up an enquiry

    As part of their learning about plants, Kingifsher class set up an enquiry to investigate the effects of temperature, light and lack of water on plants. They will observe any changes over a two-week period and report on their results.

    Art- Landscape Masterpieces

    Today was the final session in our sequence of learning all about David  Hockney. The pupils used acrylic paint on canvass to produce their own landscape masterpieces.

    Kingfisher class have been learning about the importance of respect. They were challenged to respectfully work in groups and create fun games. The results were fantastic!

    DT electric vehicles

    Our electric vehicles are coming together nicely. Lots of sawing and gluing in Kingfisher class this morning. The pupils connected up the motors and pulley and most of our vehicles of the future are working! Great teamwork and problem-solving.
