Kingfisher class have been learning about different types of fossils in Science. Today, they created their own dinosaur fossils and can explain the fossilisation process.
We were visited by a local geologist this afternoon and she talked to the class about rocks, minerals and fossils. We then went up to the field to see what we could uncover and sorted our findings out depending on their unique properties.
We have started learning about rocks in Science this half-term. Today, the children used microscopes to identify different types of rock and then took part in an enquiry where they identified the unique properties of specific rocks. Great work!
