Using different tools to take rubbings.

The children worked together to light the fire for our apples. They helped each other and cheered friends on when they got it going. Apples make a great campfire snack, especially at this time of the year as we were able to pick the apples straight from the tree.

Sending the ball using the inside of the foot. 

We identified and compared the suitability of a variety of everyday materials, including wood, metal, plastic, glass. The children could explain what the materials could be used for and ordered them based on how much use they got in everyday life.
