First, we decorated our pieces of cards - some deciding to make it look like a racetrack. Then, the children worked out how to get it from start to finish ensuring all the bits of card are joined together. 

The children quickly realised that when the ping pong ball had gone over their card they needed to join the back of their line forcing them to move across the playground/field.
