We are talking about the Gingerbread man this week, so we made some gingerbread playdough to explore.

We read Little Red Riding Hood then we created our own little forest making forest sounds with the small world people.

Using new language like tangled, crossed and twisted. Working together and chatting about crossing our laces over and how pretty it looks.

One of our children brought in a bucket of conkers, so we added leaves, pine cones and sticks, creating lots of discussion about autumn.

We love boxes, they are whatever we want them to be. Today we were camping in our box and doing lots of giggling!

Today we drew maps of how to get to our houses from preschool. Some of us could explain whether we drove or walked, what we passed, whether we turned left or right, went up or down the hill and round bends.
