When we arrived at school today and we found a tub of glittery ice, it was so much fun exploring it.

We explored big and small, we tried to fit all the different pulses and pasta in the small holes and talked about if they were too big and where they would fit. Great for developing my fine motor skills too.

Two of our boys spent a long time threading, they used their fine motor skills and really concentrated on covering the 3D shapes.

Mrs B showed us how to make an elevated road. We thought it was so fun when too many cars made it collapse. We looked at some real elevated roads around the world.

We wanted to draw our own roads for our cars. We took turns to design them then wipe them off and do another one.

We were learning about 2D shapes, we talked about the different shapes, sizes and colours needed to copy the photo, then we created our own pictures.
