STEM workshop
Kingfisher class were visited by Steve, from STEM WORKS, today. During their workshop they focused on the electrical systems aspect of the DT curriculum and designed and made their own electrical toy.

Kingfisher class hosted a samba concert this morning to showcase their fantastic learning over the last 10 weeks. They took part in whole class and group productions with children even producing their own samba arrangements! In Science, Kingfisher class have been learning about the earth's movement. Today they carried out a practical enquiry which focused on understanding the relationship between the earth's axis, rotation and night and day. Great work everyone!Read Full Story

05/02/25Maths- reflections!
We've been learning about position and shape in our current unit of Maths and today Kingfisher class carried out some tricky reflection problems! They built on their knowledge of coordinates and translations and all managed to successfully reflect a variety of different shapes!Read Full Story
