Some of our children used pizzas as part of their equivalent fractions learning today. They used pizza slices to represent halves and quarters. Great work all!

Kingfisher class looked brilliant today as they came to school dressed as some of their favourite book characters. They then took part in some 'buddy reading' with the older children and finished off the day with a book swap!

Today we began our sewing project practising running stitch, blanket stitch and cross stitch.  After the tricky business of threading the needles pupils made great progress experimenting with designs and stitching fabric.

We finished our Saxon topic with  a great day out at Gloucester museum. Going on the train made it all a bit more exciting, and it was a proper little adventure. The Museum was fascinating and we had the whole place to ourselves!  The pupils did all sorts of Anglos Saxon activities: weavin...

As part of their learning about plants, Kingifsher class set up an enquiry to investigate the effects of temperature, light and lack of water on plants. They will observe any changes over a two-week period and report on their results.

Kingfisher have been learning about Islam this half term. They used an important Muslim prayer to understand some of the key Islamic beliefs.
