They started the day off with a tug of war and in doing so learnt how pulleys can be used practically on the farm. They then took part in a day of challenges including cooking, den building, animal skull identification and creating obstacles using a range of resources. We all had a brilliant time!

They took part in whole class and group productions with children even producing their own samba arrangements! A big thank you to Lee from Gloucestershire Music for all of her hard work with the children as well as the parents who all joined in for a special performance!

The day involved three practical experiments, learning about how sound travels, testing which materials are best for sound insulation and measuring the relationship between volume and distance using an online decibel meter!
