Welcome to Brimscombe Bumblebees!
A bit about us..
We are a parent run playgroup based at Brimscombe Church of England Primary School which was re-launched in January 2014. We run every Friday morning from 9-11am during term time and are fortunate to be based in the spacious school hall. We offer a comprehensive range of activities for children from birth to 5 that are stimulating and fun and provide opportunities for you to spend quality time with your child, a tactile area and encourage physical and imaginative play, ride on bikes. crafts etc. We have a designated baby area and facilities for baby changing. We have healthy snack time and end our sessions with interactive stories and songs.

Some housekeeping…
Signing in
Our signing in book is located near the entrance please sign yourself and your children in as soon as you arrive. It is important to know who is present in a session and how many we have attending for fire safety regulations. Please could you also sign out if you leave the session early so we know you have left the building. We charge a £2.50 fee per family for each session.
Safety
Although every care will be taken to ensure the safety of the children at Bumblebees they do remain your responsibility at all times. Please be aware that there will be other users within the school building. Please make sure the entry door is closed behind you, as children may be able to run out.
We need to keep doorways clear for everyone’s safety. Please leave your prams & buggies outside or inside the hall ensuring fire exits are left clear at all times.
Toilets
All little ones need to be escorted to the toilet located in the corridor to the left, opposite the school office. Disabled facilities are also available and baby changing is located in the disabled toilet. Please remember to take home any nappies with you.
Happy play for all The organisers of Bumblebees all have young children of their own and are well aware of the challenges that face toddlers when they first start to socialise in this kind of setting. We are a relaxed and friendly group and will always encourage children to be kind to each other at all times and, although we are not experts, we will happily support any parent or carer who needs any practical help or advice dealing with any concerns about their child’s behaviour at Bumblebees.
Parent Power We are a parent run group and any help you can offer during the session with jobs like tidying up and snack time is always greatly appreciated, as long as your child is happily occupied.
Moving forward We are constantly thinking of new and different ways to improve what we do and we value any thoughts you may have on any aspect of the group and how it is run. What works well and what can be improved are questions that you can have valuable input on.
