Privacy Notices

We take the privacy and security of personal information very seriously. We are committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, store and share information about our pupils, parents, staff and other members of the school community.

What are Privacy Notices?

Privacy Notices explain what personal information we collect about you or your child, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it for, your rights regarding your personal information and how to contact us if you have questions or concerns.

We have different Privacy Notices for different groups in our school community as we collect and use different types of information depending on your relationship with the school.

Our approach to data protection is underpinned by:

  • UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), which is the main data protection law in the UK
  • Data Protection Act 2018, which supplements the UK GDPR
  • DfE Guidance on data protection for schools
  • Our own Data Protection Policy, which sets out how we comply with data protection law.

This policy is reviewed annually by our governing body to ensure it remains effective and compliant with current legislation.
