Personal Development
Personal development is woven through everyday life at Brimscombe and supports pupils to grow as confident, thoughtful members of the community. Pupils are given real opportunities to take responsibility and contribute to school life through groups such as Pupil Council and Eco Committee, where they learn to listen, debate ideas and make decisions that improve their school environment.

Our approach is underpinned by the promotion of British Values, including democracy, mutual respect, tolerance and the rule of law. Alongside this, we place strong emphasis on pupils' social, moral and cultural development. Through assemblies, classroom discussion, community projects and enrichment activities, pupils are encouraged to reflect on their actions, understand different perspectives and develop a strong sense of responsibility towards others and the wider world.
