MP visit and Outdoor Learning Day
We were visited by MP Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, he talked to us all about Parliament and what it is like in Westminster. We asked him many interesting questions and he was very informative, and taught us all about what it is like to be an MP. He has experienced a great deal and even invited us to visit Parliament in London!
After the very interesting start to the day, we went outside and enjoyed some WW1 inspired activities outdoors. These activities included 'Trench Dodgeball' and also making games and toys out of cardboard and paper - as this was all children had to make toys during the war. The is due to the fact that all materials were needed during the war effort. There was some fanatastic creativity and some great games were made.
