Pupils from Aquila class took part in the Stroud schools country dance festival at Stratford Park. Brimscombe were one of a large of number of local primary schools taking part in this colourful and fun event. Our pupils looked fantastic in their striped costumes and danced brilliantly to the many traditional tunes. Parents and members of staff got up on the dance floor too and everyone just had a good time.

Huge thanks to Mrs Oliver who, showing endless patience and resilience, choreographed all the dances and taught the children the many complex moves using her own unique diagrams and notes. 

Also, a big  thankyou to Mrs Newman's mum Cynthia for the making the costumes.
